Safe, Respectful, Responsible-April 25, 2017

Dear Sexton Mt. Families:

At the assembly on Friday, April 28 at 8:30am, students will be recognized for demonstrating safe respectful and responsible behaviors.  Over the past few weeks, I’ve had conversations with parents about a range of topics including social media, stranger danger, and bullying.  Whether navigating online or through neighborhoods or relationships, if children have a firm understanding of what it means to be safe, responsible and respectful (kind), they can handle any challenge with greater success.

Because we will have an assembly on Friday morning, we hope to have lots of volunteers to help with clean up at the end of the Thursday night Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math Night.  It’s going to be a great night of learning!    I look forward to seeing you there.
